What Style Of Yoga Do We Teach?
Yoga is a concept that is widely misunderstood in the West as many only associate it with the postures but it is actually a complete system of personal development free from religious dogma. Thousands of years ago, this word would be enough but to break through the confusion we have dubbed this as Kundalini Tantra Yoga, explain below in reverse.
Yoga - Traditionally yoga's focus was on the mental and spiritual realms but people lived more active and lived in accordance with nature, so the physical body was not the roadblock to progress it is today. Your physical practice will focus on Hatha Yoga, which almost all modern styles have come from. It was created to purify and bring balance to the body (In Sanskrit, Ha/tha literally means Sun/Moon symbolising the two sides of us constantly at play) and prepare you for the later stages of meditation and growth.
Tantra - Though the West has associated this word with sexuality, its true meaning is simply method. The typical yogi is pictured in an ashram having renounced life, whereas a tantra practitioner takes pleasure in all life has to offer. This view scares those who have paid the price of indulgence in the past but a tantric do so with a deep understanding of the energy structures at play so they can maximise the benefits and remain detached from the negatives. Here we give you knowledge and practices to create your reality so that you can face your particular problem with the appropriate ideal state.
Kundalini - Kundalini is the unmanifested energy within us all and symbolises the world unknown to most people. We will give you an understanding and teach you practices of how to safety access this world but this is the point at which we leave it as it is a journey only you can take as you go inside to build awareness of what it means to be.
